Apache Traffic Server is a fast, scalable and extensible caching proxy server, used for Load Balancer HTTP Server . Apache Traffic Server™ software is a fast, scalable and extensible HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2 compliant caching proxy server.

Prepare​

When referring to this document to use Apache Traffic Server, please read and ensure the following points:

  • Login to Websoft9 Console and find or install Apache Traffic Server:

    • Go to My Apps listing applications
    • Go to App Store installing target application

  • This application is installed by Websoft9 console.

  • The purpose of this application complies with the apache2 open source license agreement.

  • Configure the domain name or server security group opens external network ports for application access.

Getting started​

Configuring WordPress Caching with Apache Traffic Server​

  1. Install both WordPress and Apache Traffic Server applications in the Websoft9 console

    Ensure the domain configured for Apache Traffic Server is the final domain accessible to users

  2. Edit relevant parameters in the Apache Traffic Server application's remap.config file, using the WordPress container name as the connection point

     map / http://wordpress_7l1io/

  3. After rebuilding the Apache Traffic Server application, WordPress is now cached by Apache Traffic Server

  4. Access the domain name bound to Apache Traffic Server to observe significantly improved access speeds
