HuggingChat

HuggingChat is Open source chat interface for Hugging Face, used for AI Models Unified Interface AI Agents/Chatbots/RAG . HuggingChat is an open-source chatbot based on natural language processing technology that supports conversation generation in multiple languages.

Prepare​

When referring to this document to use HuggingChat, please read and ensure the following points:

  • Login to Websoft9 Console and find or install HuggingChat:

    • Go to My Apps listing applications
    • Go to App Store installing target application

  • This application is installed by Websoft9 console.

  • The purpose of this application complies with the apache2 open source license agreement.

  • Configure the domain name or server security group opens external network ports for application access.

Getting started​

Login verification​

  1. Completed installation HuggingChat at Websoft9 console, get the applicaiton's overview and access credentials from My Apps

  2. Starting to verify it

Model Acquisition and Authorization​

HuggingChat installed via the Websoft9 console cannot initiate AI chat immediately. The following steps are required:

  1. Register an account on the Hugging Face official website.

  2. Generate an Access Token in your personal settings. This Token serves as your "key" for downloading certain models from the platform and interacting with the API.

  3. Configure the HuggingChat application. Set OPENAI_API_KEY_SET in the .env file to the Token generated in step 2.

  4. Rebuild the application to select suitable models for AI chat.
